Opening ceremony of the exhibition “Silk road” at the Taras Shevchenko National Museum

As part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and China, an exhibition of Chinese artists “The Silk Road” was held in June 2017 under the patronage of the Embassy of China in Ukraine.

Place and time of the opening ceremony: Kyiv – Taras Shevchenko National Museum, June 29, 16:00.
The purpose of the exhibition is the development of initiatives launched under the Cultural Cooperation Program between Ukraine and China, which was signed in 2013 between our countries.

Among the honourable guests at the opening ceremony of the exhibition are the President of Ukraine from 2005 to 2010, Viktor Yushchenko; Liu Luidan, CEO of UIMC, President of the Chinese Research Institute of Culture and Art Zhang Baoxin, Advisor to the Minister of Culture of Ukraine Sergei Proskurnya, Executive Director of the Miss Ukraine National Committee Irina Kopanitsa, Kyiv City Council member Shlapak Alla, People’s Deputy of Ukraine and Commander of the Volunteer Battalion of the Patrol Service Militia Andrey Teteruk, People’s Deputy of Ukraine and Member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Fuel and Energy Complex Chizhmar Yuri, politte nology and president of the Institute for Democracy and Development Catherine Odarchenko, chairman of the Chinese diaspora Li Xiang; People’s Artists of Ukraine Melnychuk Igor and Anatoly Zorko, Ukrainian sculptor and general director of the Center for Contemporary Art M17 Oleg Pinchuk.
